    Discover two charming and still little-known destinations in the Brazilian countryside that are increasingly attracting ecotourism-loving travelers. The Jalapão State Park, is a Brazilian conservation unit that includes several stunning attractions, such as waterfalls, lovely natural pools with a crystal blue color and golden sand dunes. The Chapada das Mesas National Park is one of the newest national parks in Brazil. Forests of buritizais, sertões, red plateaus, compose a stunning set of curious rock formations, canyons, caves and waterfalls.

Day 1

Arrival in Palmas (capital of the state of Tocantins) and transfer to the hotel: free time to familiarize yourself with the weather and to prepare for the trip. Depending on the arrival time, excursion to the city's river beach (optional and not included) where we will watch an exciting sunset over the Tocantins River; meals not included. Overnight at Hotel Girassol Plaza or similar accommodation.

Day 2

Departure, with a 4 x 4 jeep, towards Das Araras waterfall and after lunch (included), continue towards Serra Da Catedral and visit of some of the many fountains (spring water pool surrounded by vegetation), where to be able to take a relaxing bath before arriving in São Felix. Accommodation at the inn and dinner. Overnight at Pousada Bela Vista or similar accommodation.

Day 3

After breakfast, departure with a 4 x 4 jeep to visit another fountain and the Formiga waterfall (considered the most beautiful in the region) until you reach the native village of Mombuca, where the Capim Dourado used to create pieces is harvested handicrafts (sold worldwide); visit of the artisans and after lunch (included) we arrive at the great Dune, from where, with a short walk to the top, we will witness a wonderful sunset; arrival in Mateiros with accommodation at the Pousada; dinner included. Overnight at Pousada Beira da Mata or similar accommodation.

Day 4

At dawn, it is possible (optional and with supplement) to take a 3 km hike (500 meters high) to reach the Mirante da Serra do Espírito Santo (postcard of Jalapão rock formation) from where you have a panoramic view of the region. After breakfast, departure by 4x4 jeep to reach Rio Novo, where we can take a refreshing swim in the river and relax on the beach; after the packed lunch (included), continue to the Sussuapara Canyon and, at the end of the day, return to the hotel for overnight and dinner (included).

Day 5

In the morning, departure to Pedra Furada and, after lunch (included), visit the Roncadeira and Macaco waterfalls; continue towards Palmas, where you spend the night (free dinner)

Day 6

Early in the morning, transfer to the city of Araguaína (5 to 6 hours of travel) and after lunch (free), we will continue the journey towards Carolina (entrance gate to Chapada das Mesas National Park) with accommodation at the hotel; free meals. Overnight at Pousada dos Candeeiros or similar accommodation.

Day 7

Departure by jeep 4 x 4, through the Chapada das Mesas National Park to the spectacular waterfalls of São Romão and Prata (the largest in the region): possibility to bathe and walk among the lush vegetation; after lunch (not included), we will take the road back to Carolina, not before taking a short walk of 600 meters to Portal da Chapada (postcard of the region) to witness an unforgettable sunset; free night Overnight at Pousada dos Candeeiros or similar accommodation.

Day 8

Departure by jeep 4 x 4, to the inhabited Riachão (100 km) with the destination Encanto Azul, where we can dive in blue and crystalline waters (possibility of snorkeling); after lunch (not included) at the Santa Barbara tourist complex, we will visit the Poço Azul, Santa Paola, do Moreno and Santa Bárbara waterfalls; return to the hotel in Carolina and free night. Overnight at Pousada dos Candeeiros or similar accommodation.

Day 9

Departure by jeep 4 x 4, to reach the ecological complex of Pedra Caida, where we will walk a path between the walls of a small Canyon to the wonderful waterfall of the Sanctuary: possibility of other activities on site (optional and not included); after lunch (not included), we will continue the journey to Imperatriz, where we will spend the night; free night. Overnight at Residence Imperatriz or similar accommodation.

Day 10

Free morning and possible excursion (optional and not included) to the river beach of Rio Tocantins; transfer to the airport for the return flight; meals not included.
