    Explore the incredible nature of Jalapão! Located in the vastness of the Serra Geral, the Jalapão hides large rivers, rapids, beautiful waterfalls with emerald waters and the famous fervedouros, natural hot springs with bubbles that prevent you from sinking, the main local attraction! This paradise, still little known, in the interior of Brazil, is hard to access: the roads are sandy and only a 4×4 can access its natural treasures.

    ]Jalapão can be accessed throughout the year, but there are two different seasons that can influence the decision of the best travel period: the dry season, which runs from May to September, and the rainy season, from October to April. The heat is constant in the region and, even during the rain season, the sun always show up. Observations: consult the availability and departure schedule. Prices refer to a group (min 6 max 46 pax) in 4×4 vehicles.

Day 1

Arrival in Palmas (capital of the state of Tocantins) and transfer to the hotel: free time to familiarize with the weather and get ready for the trip.

 

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to visit the Lagoa do Japones. After lunch, visit of Pedra Furada and Mirante da Pedra where you will see the immensity of the region and watch the sun go down until the last second. After the end of the tour, transfer to tje Pousada in Ponte Alta de Tocantins.

Day 3

Breakfast at the pousada and departure to visit the Sussuapara Canyon. Here, walls of sandstone with 15 meters height open to give way to the small waterfall that, they say, fulfills wishes. You just have to go under the waterfall, close your eyes and think positively. After lunch, departure to Tri Agro farm and visit of Cachoeira da Velha, the largest in the region, and Prainha do Rio Novo, located a few meters from Cachoeira da Velha, has a long strip of white sand, calm water and lots of shade for those want to rest. Then, visit of the Jalapão dunes, a natural spectacle which altitude varies from 200 to 400 meters, from where you will see the beautiful landscape of sands that reflect sunlight in various shades of gold mixed with the blue of the rivers and the green of the undergrowth typical of the region and buritizais that thrive at the edge of springs. After the visit, departure to Mateiros, dinner at the pousada and free evening.

Day 4

Breakfast at the pousada and departure for the visit of Salto and Buritis natural hot springs. After lunch, visit of the village of Mumbuca to learn about quilombola culture and crafts. Then, visit of Ceiça natural hot springs and the Formiga waterfall. At the end of the visits, return to the pousada, dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Breakfast at the pousada and departure for the visit of the Meeting of Waters' natural hot spring, which stands out for the enormous power of the spring, and makes it the strongest of Jalapão. Then, visit the meeting of Soninho and Formiga rivers and Buritizinho natural hot spring whose differential is the extremely transparent and blue water, which allows beautiful photos! After lunch, transfer to São Felix do Tocantins. Night bath in the Bela Vista hot spring, check-in and dinner at the pousada.

Day 6

After breakfast, departure to visit the Alecrim beach and the Bela Vista natural hot spring. Then, visit of the Araras waterfall and lunch. After lunch visit of the Serra da Catedral and red hills. Then, return to Palmas, dinner and overnight at the Pousada.

Day 7

Breakfast and depending on the flight time, transfer to the airport.
